The only issue I could think of with my older one is it tends to hit pretty low with slugs past 10-15 yards. For $140, I wouldn't and didn't hesitate. But that gun took a beating and kept on going. There were several 590s, 500s and 870s and a Barretta that went down in that course. That was with birdshot, buckshot and slugs. Like I mentioned before, I ran that one through a course years ago and beat the crap out of it and it kept running without an issue. If they run the same as the on I already have with a different stamp on it, I wouldn't hesitate at all. But I'll post something on them when I do. Might be a little bit before I get a chance to get them out. Just like teaching handguns I don't start folks with buckshot and slugs.

They'll only be called to shoot light target loads most of the time. I need a few shotguns to be used as loaners/training guns and these look ideal as long as they seem like they will hold up. I'm HIGHLY interested in your review because I need an opinion from someone I trust. If I have time, I'll take pics of both of them side by side this evening. They are just updated with different stock and forend and being sold under a different importer and name. They do also appear to be the exact same thing as the one I got from Palmetto years ago for $99. Overall, without having shot them yet, for $140 you just can't go wrong. The pistol grip is rubber and feels pretty comfortable. So the only steel on it is the barrel and mag tube.

The actions are aluminum and, of course, the furniture is polymer. Maybe that will get better with some use as well. The action is pretty stiff, but a good cleaning and some use should slick it up, I'm betting. Just messing around with it, it definitely feels solid. I only snapped one quick picture of one of them before putting them in the safe for now. So I'll have to count on you to make me wish in a few weeks that I had ordered the damn guns. AND I REALLY do not need another two freaking shotguns. I was looking at that email earlier today and thought exactly the same thing but then about 1,000,000 things got in my way today including a wife that is not feeling well and a dog that is demanding a whole lot of attention, and now I don't have the energy or time to even think about it. At that price, I just figured I'd get 2 of them. Since then, it's been my bedside shotgun.Īnyway, it looks like someone started importing these things again, just with a few changes. I ended up taking it to a training course in Colorado quite a few years ago and beat the heck out of it for a week and it ran flawlessly. I ordered that gun just for a beater gun. It was also a Turkish import and appears to be the exact same gun, just mine has a regular synthetic stock instead of the pistol grip stock. Several years ago, I ordered a shotgun from PSA when they were on sale for $99. I believe they are a Turkish import being distributed by G-Force out of Reno.
